How Good is Zara Clothing?

Lately, I have been hearing a lot of news about Zara clothing, and most of the news is coming from Europe. The news is saying that Zara clothes are very good. They are classic clothes. As usual, I am always in doubt. I am not going to spend my money on the news. I don’t know if the news is artificially created by Zara company, so that they can get more customers and increase their sales.

I decided to do a little research (on the internet) myself about this designer. I found out that the company is owned by Amancio Ortega. He is not a new designer. He incorporated the company since 1975. I thought he was new because the company just started making waves.

I did a little digging, and I realized that Zara boasts of a 2 weeks time line for a cloth. That is from the time the company gets the clothing material to the time it is distributed to be put up on the stores shelf is 2 weeks. This is amazing. This shows that dress makers (from the designer to the seamstress) already have a place, and they are good at executing it. This also means that most of the dresses you see in the stores are current dresses because they are likely just from the clothing factory. I also found out that the store does zero advertisement. Instead of them marketing the brand, they use the money to open more outlets. This increases their visibility among the local residents.

Zara now wants to take its popularity to the internet. It just recently started selling clothes, shoes for men, women and kids online. This would be convenient for customers to buy their products.
